VENDOR REGULATIONS AND INFORMATION

  • The Flea Market will be held Saturday, August 1st in the hall of the Chatham County Fairgrounds. The hours of the event are 6:30am - 2:00pm. Admission will be free to the public. All proceeds support the Chatham County Agricultural & Industrial Fair Association, a non-profit organization.
  • The Chatham County Agricultural & Industrial Fair Association Flea Market is a one day event and each vendor is expected to be available during all hours that the event is open to the public. The Chatham County Agricultural & Industrial Fair Association is not responsible for accidents, loss, theft, or breakage.
  • The Fundraising Committee Chair must approve all sales items. A detailed description of all items must be included in your application.
  • Inside space of approximately 8 x 10 ft. is available for $10 and includes 1 table and 2 chairs. Use of wall outlets is available for an additional $20. Vendors are encouraged to bring additional displays and table skirting.
  • Outside space of approximately 10 x 10 ft. is available for $25. Vendors must provide their own tents, outside tables, and chairs.
  • Food truck space is available for $50. Food truck vendors must provide their own electricity. Food vendors must provide proof of insurance.
  • All food vendors that will be cooking on site must also contact the Fire Department to obtain the proper cooking equipment guidelines. It is also the responsibility of each food vendor to comply with the Chatham County Health Department guidelines.
  • Vendors should be prepared in the case of rain to cover your rental space with plastic covers. In the case of heavy rain, the Fundraising Committee Chair will consider and determine suspension or cancellation of any part or the entire event. Vendors should not leave before the Fundraising Committee Chair announces suspension or cancellation of the event. If a vendor should vacate their assigned rental space before an official suspension or cancellation is made by the Fundraising Committee Chair, no refund of event fees will be returned to the vendor.
  • Vendor setup hours are from 5pm - 8pm on Friday, July 31st and 6:00am - 7:00am on Saturday, August 1st.
  • All vendors are expected to be packed up and out of the building by 4:00pm on Saturday, August 1st.
  • Vendor space deposits are nonrefundable after the July 30th deadline unless the Fundraising Committee Chair is able to rent that space to another vendor.
  • Anyone wishing to use electricity in their spaces must bring their own power/extension cords. The electrical drop charge is $20 for use of the outlet on the walls.
  • To reserve vendor space, a completed vendor registration form and the appropriate space fee must be sent to the Fundraising Committee Chair by August 30th.

NOTE The purpose of the Chatham County Agricultural & Industrial Fair Association Flea Market is to bring awareness to the Chatham County Fairgrounds; to entertain and support the community in its strengths and cultural diversity. There will be local folk selling gently used goods, art, crafts, music, and local foods. Come join us in some down home fun.
