Thursday, September 22 Opening Day
5:00 PM Chatham County Students (with ID card) Admitted Free!!	Gates Open to the Public
5:15 PM	Chatham County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard will perform to begin the *Opening Ceremonies*
5:30 PM Outdoor Stage	Brief Welcoming Remarks including Welcome by Larry Brooks, Association President; Greeting from the NC Department of Agriculture; Remarks from Invited Guests; Welcome to the Midway; Review of Exhibits, Vendors and Concessionaires.

6:00 PM-7:30 PM Outside Stage	Jamie Lee This multi-talented artist will offer karaoke participation and perform her own favorites

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Inside Stage	Fashion Show Expo An annual crowd pleaser! Will your neighbor appear this year? And what will she/he be wearing?

3:00 -4:30 PM Outside Stage	Grade School Talent Show Inviting all Chatham County Grade School attendees to present your talents for prizes. The prizes will be one each for High School ($50), Junior High ($35), and Elementary School($20). Come out and present your talents. If you need supporting music, please bring on a cell phone, or contact Stan Malette at (919) 742-2779 or stanmalette@embarqmail.com by September 20, 2022.

5:00 PM-5:50 PM PM Outside Stage	Dave Smith and Tracy Lynn w/bassist Jim O’Keefe This Pittsboro based duo has been crafting artrock and indiefolkpop original tunes since 2015 and has self-produced two records (“Iron Gate” and “Wasted By Keeping”). Every song is uniquely different and encompasses just every musical genre, including a little circus tune. Featuring Jim O’Keefe on bass.

6:00 PM - 6:15 PM Outside Stage	Sharon Price, vocals, featuring Stan Malette, tenor sax Traditional, Blues, and Soulful sounds presented by this talented, powerful vocalist, augmented with tasty sax accompaniment.

6:15 PM - 6:50 PM Outside Stage	Stan Malette, tenor sax R&B, Pop, and Contemporary Country sounds from this soulful sax man and NCCU grad, who has performed all over the East Coast and in Japan

7:00PM - 9:00PM PM Outside Stage	Aquarius Moon This popular Greensboro based group led by lead vocalist Lois will thrill audiences with her smooth sounds of R&B and Pop as our headliner for the Saturday activities.

Midway by R and D Amusements Tickets and wrist bands for the Midway rides will be available from the midway staff for $20

Midway ride tickets, for $1.25 each, will be available for purchase at the Midway from carnival staff. President’s Message

Greetings!

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the 72nd annual Chatham County Agriculture and Industrial Fair. From September 22 through 25, 2022 we will celebrate 72 years of service to all the citizens of Chatham County. And we are delighted to once again partner with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service, Chatham County Center, providing fun and entertainment for everyone.

On behalf of the board of directors, I would like to invite you to display your arts and crafts, fruits, vegetables and livestock. Please review the different categories listed in our premium booklet and plan to enter your products. Registration begins for all non-perishable entries on Tuesday, September 20th from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and continues Wednesday September 21st from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Please note that only perishables will be accepted Thursday morning September 22th, between 8:00 - 9:30 a.m.

We are excited to announce that R and D Amusements will join us again as our carnival host for 2022, with rides, games and carnival foods.

We have prepared a fun filled four days of events for your enjoyment including music every night, both inside and outside. Come on out and bring the family, smell the aroma of the food and enjoy the rides and games!
